John 1:17

John 14:6

Don’t be led away from the truth.

Colossians 2:8

Psalm 85:10–11

Psalm 108:4

Smile, though your heart is aching,

Smile, even though it’s breaking,

When there are clouds in the sky you’ll get by if you

Smile through your pain and sorrow,

Smile, and maybe tomorrow

You’ll see the sun come shining through for you,
if you just smile.

—Lyrics by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons (1954), set to music composed by Charlie Chaplin for his 1936 silent film classic Modern Times.
