Fall 2011 IROS Scholarship

Thanks so much to the IROS scholarship committee! Serving as a missionary for three years in the Republic of the Marshall Islands was truly one of the greatest and most rewarding things that I have ever done. I am grateful for my experiences there. When I returned home, however, finding suitable full-time employment was challenging to say the least.

After spending time in prayer, I received direction to return to school and pursue a degree in law. I had to overcome many obstacles to do so – one of the greatest obstacles was financial. I continued to believe God and move forward. As I continued to move forward, every need was met. The IROS scholarship was a major tool that God used to continue to meet my needs. I am very thankful that I was able to find a scholarship that acknowledged aspects of service to God and rewarded that. This scholarship was special to me for that reason. Thank you so much!
