Activated Ministries Scholarships

As of June, 2016, 284 scholarships have been awarded to qualifying individuals, for a total of $275,000. Since 2010, Activated Ministries’ In Recognition of Service Scholarships have provided tuition assistance to the children of current and former missionaries. Our goal is to honor those who have served on the mission field, for a minimum of 10 years, by assisting their children in the pursuit of their education. Individual scholarships range from $500 to $1500, averaging $1000.

Applications are received and processed each Spring and Fall. Follow the link for more information about eligibility and how to apply or read the stories of those around the globe who have been awarded an IROS scholarship. I want to send heartfelt thank you to Activated Ministries for awarding me with this grant! It is an honor and responsibility! This scholarship gives me a possibility to continue my studies and to work on my dissertation about forming core values through volunteering. It will result in PhD in pedagogy. Combining my 25 years of missionary and volunteer work with scientific research will give me opportunities to positively influence others, especially youth, in many new ways, using different methods; teaching courses, leading lectures, issuing books, etc. Read more about Mila Nataliya Govorukha
